Corded or cordless. The key feature. Off the base it works as a cordless iron, heating back up in about 15 seconds each time you dock it. When you have a big pile or thick fabrics, you use it corded and it stays at full heat. Owners value having both options more than any other feature.
Steam. 40g/min and a 180g shot are good for the price and similar to more expensive cordless irons; the Tefal Freemove Power has the same 40g/min with a 220g boost. Owners at Amazon UK say it releases plenty of steam on demand. As with every cordless iron, steam and heat fall off the longer it is off the base, which is why some owners say it “doesn’t stay hot enough”.
Soleplate and tank. The multi-layer ceramic soleplate glides easily, and owners rate it highly for smooth operation. The 360ml tank is large for a cordless iron, almost 50% bigger than the Freemove’s 250ml.
